Bryant Park is hosting dozens of live and in-person music, dance, and theater events produced in partnership with a diverse lineup of New York City’s performing arts institutions. Some featured partners are Carnegie Hall Citywide, The Town Hall, Joe’s Pub, The Classical Theatre of Harlem, American Symphony Orchestra, New York City Opera and many more. All performances are free to the public and designed to be enjoyed casually – no tickets required—with ample seating available and free picnic blankets for audience members to borrow. Sightseeing, Lobster and Cocktails? Yes, please. This seasonal all-inclusive Lobster Roll Cruise features a choice of Classic, Lower Eastside or Connecticut Lobster rolls or Burger or Impossible Burger. The 2025 Roof Garden Commission: Jennie C. Jones, Ensemble will was on view April-October and “will explore the sonic potential of stringed instruments as well as their formal possibilities.” On Friday & Saturday Nights, The Met hosts Sun Sets, which celebrates the freedom, inclusivity, and creativity of electronic music culture with a series of rooftop events showcasing the diversity of sounds emanating from the city’s ever-evolving music underground.
