The Met’s annual concerts in New York City parks is a great city tradition. The Met’s popular Summer Recital Series in New York City parks kicks off the New York summer season with six free outdoor recitals, featuring established artists and young talents of the opera world, to New Yorkers in all five boroughs starting Tuesday, June 20. The series, now in its 14th year, has become an operatic summer tradition. Presented in collaboration with Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage, the series will start at Central Park SummerStage (Manhattan) on Tuesday, June 20, at 8PM, and then at Brooklyn Bridge Park (Brooklyn) on Friday, June 23, at 7PM.

2023 Movies will be a celebration of pioneering musician Terence Blanchard, Can’t Stop the Street: Hip Hop on Screen, a five-film mini-festival, and an evening curated by the New York Asian Film Festival.


Touted as the “The Ultimate New York Festival,” Lincoln Center is back this year with a bang – hosting over 300 events all summer long. Silent Disco, Social Dance, free outdoor movies, Jazz, Comedy, dancing, singing, readings, celebrations, flamingos, disco ball, poetry, Mozart, concerts, crafts, Juneteenth and much more!

The New York Yankees, 27-Time World Series Champions, and likely the most simultaneously loved and hated team in baseball, return to Yankee Stadium with our Captain, Aaron Judge, pitcher Gerrit Cole and shortstop Anthony Volpe. Come see NYC turn into the world’s largest rainbow @ Pride, the city’s premiere LGBTQIA+ celebration for over 50 years. There’s a ton of events including The Rally, The March & Pride Island. Filled with a series of fabulous and fun events, the festivities begin with Family Night and the Rally and culminate with PrideFest & The March. Other events include Pride Island and the annual Dance on the Pier, following the parade wrapping up Pride Week in a grand fireworks display. Every landmark, attraction, sign, just about everything in NYC is covered in rainbows all week and it is glorious!

Delacorte Theater, Central Park
Every year, stars such as Meryl Streep, Al Pacino and James Earl Jones perform modern interpretations of various Shakespeare plays in Central Park at the recently redone 1,800 seat open-air theater and they are attended by over 80,000 people.
