New York Comedy Festival

The New York Comedy Festival brings together hundreds of the country’s best comedians for over a week of stand-up. This year’s headliners include Dave Attell, Bill Burr, Nicole Byer, Jimmy Carr, Margaret Cho, Tim Dillon, Giggly Squad, Ilana Glazer, Brett Goldstein, Nate Jackson, Anthony Jeselnik, Matteo Lane, Sam Morril, Nick Mullen and Adam Friedland, Atsuko Okatsuka, Pod Meets World, Donnell Rawlings, Jeff Ross, Robyn Schall, Daniel Sloss, and Michelle Wolf. Taste of the Seaport

On Saturday, November 11, more than 50 restaurants and community partners will come together to showcase the culinary diversity of lower Manhattan and support the area’s local schools, PS 397 and PS 343. The celebration offers donated tastes from some of the best Seaport restaurant kitchens, including Cafe Patoro, Carne Mare, Industry Kitchen, Keste Pizza, Taïm, Watermark, Malibu Farm, The Fulton, Stout NYC, Cobble Fish, Hole in the Wall, Osteria, and many more.

What to Wear in NYC in November – New York Weather November

The short answer? Everything! Average temperatures range from the mid-40s to mid-50s F, but can also shoot up into the high 70s. Millions of dedicated Thanksgiving parade-goers have watched in everything from umbrellas through rain, sleet and snow; to short-sleeved shirts. It’s hard to advise on what to wear this time of year. Before packing, consult with a weather website, but always include outfits with layers this time of year, along with basics like hat, scarf, gloves, waterproof boots/shoes and a small knapsack for dumping layers into while walking around.
