The most famous tree of 2025, the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, a Norway spruce, hails from East Greenbush, New York. The tree lighting ceremony is, once again, open to the public and we have the best spots mapped out for you as well as tickets to the private gala! - Nov 8 – The Tree arrives at Rockefeller Center
- Dec 3 – The Tree will be lit for the first time on Rockefeller Plaza
- Dec 25 – On Christmas Day, the lights shine for a full 24 hours
- Dec 31 – On New Year’s Eve, visiting hours are from 6 am to 9 pm
- Jan 10, 2026 – The tree comes down
