2023 Free Summer Concerts

The 2023 season of SummerStage, New York’s largest free performing arts festival, will bring nearly 80 free and benefit performances in 13 parks across all five boroughs. The 37th season of SummerStage will bring free salsa, jazz, indie-rock, country, bhangra, afrobeats, opera, and so much more. They will also be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop the way only SummerStage can!

With performances ranging from American pop, Latin and world music to dance, spoken word and theater, SummerStage brings a huge summer arts festival to New York City’s landscape. All health, vaccine & mask guidelines should be gone in 2023!

Central Park SummerStage ‘officially’ kicks off Saturday, June 10th, featuring a Free Performance from St. Paul and The Broken Bones with Say She She and Mwenso & the Shakes (there are 2 performances prior to the 10th, Hippo Campus + Gus Dapperton and The Indigo Girls). Season Highlights Include Juanes, Tanya Tucker, Jason Moran, Marisa Monte, DJ Rekha, Horsegirl, Julia Jacklin, Kool & The Gang, Skip Marley, The Comet is Coming, Dorrance Dance and more

Central Park SummerStage NYC

SummerStage’s flagship venue in Central Park was transformed with a new stage, new sound system, increased lighting, upgraded backstage areas, raised seating, and an improved concert-going experience for all guests.

The annual City Parks Foundation Gala takes place in June and following the dinner, guests enjoy a SummerStage concert performed by stars.
